How to log a BBSO

Four ways to log a BBSO
1Your personal appBEST
Your safety officer sends you a personal link on WhatsApp. Open it and save it to your home screen.
The My observations tab shows everything you logged and its progress.
The link is linked to your name – don't share it.
2No WhatsApp link?
Ask your safety officer to show your personal QR code on their screen.
Scan it with your phone camera – it opens your personal app.
3No smartphone?
Write it down or tell your safety officer what you saw.
They capture it in the system for you, under your name.
4QR poster
Scan the BBSO poster on the notice board. Type your name, cell number and what you saw.
You can't track progress this way – ask for your personal link.
Save the app to your home screen
Android / SamsungOpen the link → tap the ⋮ menu → Add to phone or Add to Home screen.
iPhoneOpen the link in Safari → tap Share → Add to Home Screen.
What happens after you submit
NewReceived, waiting for review.
AcceptedReviewed and valid – action will be taken.
ImplementedCorrective action has been put in place.
ClosedCompleted.
RejectedNot accepted – the reason is shown.
For the safety officer
SEND LINKS
Type a name and cell number, then send the personal link by WhatsApp or let them scan the QR on screen. REVOKE if a phone is lost or the person leaves.
+ ADD BBSO
Capture a BBSO on someone's behalf – paper card, verbal report, or no smartphone.
QR POSTER
Print the A4 poster for notice boards. Poster BBSOs are marked identity not verified in their history.
VIEW
See details and photo, and update the status. Every change is kept in the history and shows in the reporter's app. A reason is required to reject.
DASHBOARD
Totals by status, type, category, month, department and observer.
Desired behaviour recognised · Undesired behaviour stopped, corrected and preventive action taken.
